Key Responsibilities
- Development of data platforms, integration frameworks, processes, and code.
- Develop and deliver APIs in Scala for Business Intelligence applications built using modern web technologies.
- Work in a collaborative Agile environment (SCRUM / Kanban) to elaborate and deliver development stories.
- Handle and process large-scale data volumes efficiently.
- Design and implement REST-based services.
- Work with cloud platforms such as GCP, AWS, or Azure.
Required Skills & Development Practices
- Strong experience with Scala and Apache Spark.
- Experience with large-scale data engineering solutions.
- Knowledge of Agile development practices including:
- Iterative Development
- Refactoring
- Unit Testing
- Continuous Integration & Continuous Delivery (CI/CD)
- Acceptance Test Driven Development
- Understanding of formal testing and deployment methodologies.
