Job Title: Senior Data Engineer

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in SQL, Snowflake, Azure Data Factory, Python, SSIS, ETL/ELT processes, and Data Modeling. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, optimizing, and maintaining enterprise data platforms and analytics solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and data platforms.

• Lead database modernization and ETL/ELT migration initiatives.

• Optimize SQL queries, database performance, and Snowflake workloads.

• Develop and maintain data models, data warehouses, and reporting solutions.

• Build and support analytics and business intelligence solutions using Power BI and SSRS.

• Collaborate with business, product, and engineering teams to deliver data-driven solutions.

• Monitor production data systems and ensure reliability, scalability, and performance.

• Conduct code reviews and implement best practices for data engineering.

• Troubleshoot complex data issues across multiple systems and environments.

• Create and maintain technical documentation for data architecture and processes.

Required Skills:

• 7+ years of experience in Data Engineering.

• Strong expertise in SQL and query optimization.

• Hands-on experience with Snowflake (Azure preferred).

• Experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF), SSIS, and Python.

• Strong understanding of ETL/ELT processes and Data Warehousing concepts.

• Experience with Data Modeling, Fact & Dimension Tables, and Star Schema.

• Experience with Power BI and SSRS.

• Knowledge of FiveTran or similar no-code ETL tools.

• Experience with secure file transfer tools such as GoAnywhere.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Document AI solutions.

• Experience working in Agile environments.

• Team leadership or mentoring experience.

• Mortgage or Financial Services domain experience.
