Data Engineer

The Role

Join our data team and play a crucial role in powering the next generation of property technology. You'll

design and build robust data pipelines that transform how estate agents and property professionals

make decisions, using both Microsoft's leading-edge data stack and our innovative in-house C#

solutions.

Working closely with our Data Analysts, you'll ensure clean, structured data flows seamlessly into Power BI

dashboards that drive business growth for thousands of property professionals worldwide.

What You'll Do

Build & Scale - Design ETL/ELT pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Databricks, and our custom C#

orchestration systems

Architect Solutions - Develop data lakes and warehouses with Azure Synapse and SQL, handling

massive property datasets

Code & Collaborate - Contribute C# code to shared repositories, participate in code reviews, and

follow best practices

Integrate Everything - Connect diverse data sources via APIs, Dataverse, and various connectors

Enable Analytics - Shape data for optimal Power BI performance and business intelligence

What You'll Bring

Essential

• Strong C# skills with 3+ years backend development or data orchestration experience
• SQL expertise including performance optimisation and complex queries
• Azure experience with Data Factory and Databricks (or equivalent cloud platforms)
• ETL/ELT knowledge with solid understanding of data modeling and transformation patterns
• Development practices using Git, CI/CD, and collaborative workflows
• Integration experience working with APIs, ODBC, and various data sources

Preferred

• Secondary language proficiency in appropriate languages such as Python for advanced
• transformations
• Azure Synapse Analytics, Data Lake, or Fabric experience
• Dataverse and Power Platform knowledge
• Data governance and security practices
• Property/real estate industry experience
