Job Title: Data Engineer Snowflake & Talend
Experience Required: 58 Years
Key Responsibility:
- Design and implement scalable Snowflake data models to support analytical and reporting workloads.
- Develop, enhance, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines using Talend for data ingestion and transformation.
- Ensure strong data governance practices, including data quality, lineage, and compliance controls.
- Optimize data pipelines for performance efficiency and Snowflake warehouse cost optimization.
- Build reusable ingestion frameworks and metadata-driven pipeline architectures.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams to gather and translate data requirements.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation covering data mappings, transformations, lineage, and overall architecture.
Skillsets:
- Strong expertise in SQL and Snowflake data modeling.
- Hands-on experience with Talend ETL/ELT development.
- Solid understanding of ETL/ELT design patterns and orchestration concepts.
- Good knowledge of cloud-based data processing fundamentals.
- Experience working with ADLS and common file formats such as Parquet, ORC, and JSON.
- Proven experience in pipeline performance tuning and optimization.
- Familiarity with version control systems and CI/CD integration.
