Role: Data Engineer (GCP + Python + BigQuery)
Experience: 5–8 years
Location: Chennai (Hybrid – 3 days WFO)

Salary: up to 20 LPA
Notice Period: Immediate to 15 days preferred
Experience required ( min 3+ years in each of the following)
- GCP Experience: Hands-on experience designing and managing data pipelines using core GCP services (BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, Composer).
- Python Experience: Strong coding skills for data engineering, automation, and scalable processing.
- BigQuery Experience: Expertise in data modeling, query optimization, partitioning, clustering, and handling large datasets.
- SQL Experience: Strong SQL with advanced functions, performance tuning, and ETL/ELT transformations.
- Tekton CI/CD Pipelines: Experience building and maintaining Tekton-based CI/CD workflows (good to have but can be optional based on role).
Roles & Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable data pipelines using GCP services
- Write efficient, production-grade Python code
- Work extensively with BigQuery for data processing and analytics
- Handle large datasets and optimize performance across pipelines
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for seamless project delivery
Good to Have
- Experience with Dataflow, Airflow, or Apache Spark
- Exposure to Tekton CI/CD pipelines
- Understanding of cloud cost optimization and data governance
