Data Engineer

Job Summary

• You will be part of our Siemens Energy Data Lake team and will get own responsibilities over time and partner with our stakeholders
• You need to understand requirements from consumers as data scientists or app development teams and derive solutions
• You will be required to optimize databases, developing ELT solutions, and manage automatized data flow on existing and new systems

What You Bring

• Bachelor s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or relevant field
• A minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role, or successful, proven experience with complex solutions
• Very good communication skills in English
• Analytical thinking and problem solving, deriving a solution
• A can-do attitude, result driven and openness to learning
• Experience in coordinating with other teams / stakeholders
• Experience with purpose build DBMS, like Time Series DB s, Graph, Key - Value, Postgres, Snowflake
• Coordination with backend team s is needed
• Any experience with real time solutions would be a plus; also experience with AWS or other public cloud
• Curious, willingness to learn new technologies
