Job Title: Data Engineer — SAS ETL Developer | Oracle | Control-M

Location: Manyata Tech Park, Bengaluru (Hybrid, 3 days/week from office) Employment Type: Full-time

Experiecne: 4–6 years experience

Notice period: Immediate to 21 days

We're hiring a Data Engineer for the data integration and reporting function of a large enterprise — building and supporting the ETL pipelines that feed a core Oracle-based data warehouse used for business and operational reporting.

This is a hands-on execution role. You'll own the day-to-day build, enhancement and troubleshooting of the ETL jobs that keep the warehouse accurate and current. If SAS ETL and Oracle are genuinely your daily tools rather than something you touched years ago, read on.

What you'll do:

• Develop, enhance and maintain ETL processes using SAS
• Design and optimise Oracle database queries, procedures and data models
• Analyse business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Perform data validation, troubleshooting and performance tuning
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality data delivery
• Schedule and monitor ETL jobs using Control-M

What we're looking for:

• SAS ETL (mandatory) — hands-on experience building, enhancing and maintaining ETL processes in SAS
• Oracle Database (mandatory) — strong hands-on experience with SQL queries, procedures and data models
• Data integration & warehousing — designing, developing and supporting ETL solutions, with solid grounding in data warehousing best practices
• Strong SQL and data-analysis skills, with experience in data validation and performance tuning
• Good problem-solving and communication skills for cross-functional work

Nice to have:

• Control-M — scheduling and monitoring ETL/batch jobs
• Exposure to large-enterprise or BFSI-scale data warehouse environments
