Data Engineer – Profisee & BI Integration

Total Experience: 5–8 Years

Relevant Profisee Experience: 3–4+ Years

Primary Location: Bangalore / Hyderabad- Hybrid

Backup Location: Mumbai / Kolkata - Hybrid

Domain: BFSI / Banking – Preferred

Job Summary

Looking for an experienced Data Engineer with strong expertise in Profisee MDM and Power BI. The candidate will design and implement data pipelines, process input files, integrate with Profisee APIs, and deliver data into BI dashboards. This is a client-facing role requiring strong technical and functional communication skills.

Must-Have Skills

Profisee MDM

• 3–4+ years of hands-on Profisee experience
• Strong experience with Profisee API
• Profisee data modeling and master data processing
• Data integration and transformation using Profisee

Power BI

• Advanced Power BI experience
• Data ingestion and transformation
• Data modeling
• Dashboard and report development
• Business/functional reporting

Data Engineering

• Strong data extraction and manipulation skills
• Data pipeline development and automation
• Back-end database integration
• Strong understanding of data engineering concepts
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Key Responsibilities

• Develop end-to-end data pipelines using Profisee APIs.
• Process input data files and integrate with backend databases.
• Implement data transformation and master data processing.
• Integrate Profisee data with Power BI dashboards.
• Build data models and reporting solutions for business stakeholders.
• Gather requirements directly from client functional teams.
• Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Troubleshoot data quality, integration and reporting issues.
• Collaborate with engineering and functional teams within the banking environment.

Good to Have

• Tableau reporting experience
• Python / PySpark for scripting and automation
• SQL and database experience
• MongoDB or other relational/NoSQL databases
• BFSI / Banking domain experience
• Strong client-facing communication skills
• Experience working independently in a consulting environment
