Role Overview:

We are looking for a hands-on Data Engineer who can build and maintain scalable data workflows and create a strong data foundation across PriceSenz products and client initiatives.

This is a highly execution-focused role for someone who can work across the end-to-end data lifecycle — from identifying and ingesting data from multiple sources to cleaning, transforming, modeling, and operationalizing it for downstream use.

The ideal candidate should be comfortable working with messy datasets, improving data quality, creating repeatable workflows, and collaborating with engineering and product teams to build reliable and maintainable systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain end-to-end data workflows across multiple sources
• Design and improve data models and data structures
• Perform data ingestion, transformation, normalization, and enrichment
• Create matching and deduplication logic for data quality improvement
• Implement validation and quality checks
• Build processes for refresh schedules, exception handling, and data governance
• Support data integration and operational workflows across internal products and client projects
• Work with engineering and product teams to operationalize and maintain data systems
• Document data workflows, assumptions, and business rules

Core Qualifications:

• 4-6 years of experience in Data Engineering or related hands-on data roles
• Strong Python experience
• Strong SQL experience
• Experience handling multi-source datasets
• Experience with data modeling and normalization
• Experience with data quality, matching, and deduplication
• Strong problem-solving and ownership mindset
• Ability to work in fast-moving environments

Preferred:

• Experience with cloud data platforms
• Experience with BI tools
• Experience with workflow automation
• Experience in startup or product environments
