Data Engineer

About Position:

We are looking for a skilled Data Engineer with strong expertise in SQL databases, modern data transformation tools, and cloud platforms (Snowflake). The role involves building scalable data pipelines, designing efficient data models, and ensuring high-performance data processing across systems.

What You'll Do:

• Design, develop, and maintain robust ETL/ELT pipelines for data ingestion and transformation.
• Develop and optimize complex queries using SQL, PostgreSQL, and MySQL.
• Implement and manage data transformation workflows using DBT (Data Build Tool).
• Design efficient data models (dimensional, normalized) to support analytics and reporting.
• Work with cloud platforms like AWS and Snowflake for data storage and processing.
• Build and manage scalable data pipelines ensuring reliability, performance, and data quality.
• Perform code reviews, identify performance bottlenecks, and provide effective solutions.
• Troubleshoot data issues, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and stability.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into data solutions.

Expertise You'll Bring:

• Strong hands-on experience in SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL).
• Good understanding and working experience with DBT.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Snowflake).
• Solid understanding of data modelling concepts and best practices.
• Hands-on experience in ETL processes and data pipeline design.
• Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and performance tuning skills.
• Experience in code reviews and maintaining coding standards.
