Job Description:

• Deep expertise in Oracle Database Architecture and Exadata.
• Extensive hands-on experience with ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) and CDC (Change Data Capture) tools and frameworks.
• Proficiency in Unix/Linux Shell scripting for automation and data pipeline orchestration.
• Proven experience in OLTP (Online Transaction Processing) database design, with a focus on handling large data volumes and implementing various partitioning strategies for performance and scalability.
• Strong background in designing and optimizing Data Marts for large-scale analytics, including advanced partitioning and indexing techniques.
• Mastery of SQL, including complex queries, window functions, and analytical functions for large datasets.
• Expert-level PL/SQL development: procedures, functions, packages, and advanced scripting.
• Demonstrated ability in Oracle query performance tuning, including execution plan analysis and optimization.
• In-depth knowledge of Oracle data export/import utilities such as SQL*Loader and Data Pump, with experience in large-scale data migrations.
• Strong knowledge of data governance, data security and data masking techniques.
• Exceptional problem-solving and critical thinking skills, especially in performance tuning, data quality, and resolving complex system issues.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Nice to Have

• Experience with NoSQL databases such as Cassandra or MongoDB.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot.
• Exposure to cloud data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and modern data engineering practices.

Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control (e.g., Git)
