Job Summary:
We are looking for a motivated Data Engineer with 2-5 years of hands-on experience in building and maintaining data pipelines and transformation workflows. The ideal candidate should have strong fundamentals in SQL and Python, along with practical experience in DBT and cloud platforms (Azure or AWS).
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and optimize data pipelines using DBT, Python, and SQL
- Perform data transformation and modelling to support analytics and reporting needs
- Work with cloud-based data platforms on Azure or AWS
- Collaborate with analysts and senior engineers to implement scalable data solutions
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and performance optimization
- Participate in code reviews and deployment processes
Required Skills (Must Have):
- 2-5 years of experience in Data Engineering
- Strong proficiency in SQL and Python
- Hands-on experience with DBT
- Experience working on Azure or AWS cloud platforms
- Experience with PySpark
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines
- Hands-on experience with Databricks or Microsoft Fabric
- Experience with Data Modeling
- Version control experience using Git
