Data Engineer

As a Salesforce Data Engineer , you will be responsible for designing and implementing data pipelines to extract, transform, and load (ETL) Salesforce data. You will collaborate closely with clients to understand their data needs and requirements, and develop customized solutions to normalize, cleanse, and fine-tune their Salesforce data. You will work with cross-functional teams including data scientists, business analysts, and developers to ensure the accuracy and integrity of the data, and deliver actionable insights that drive business outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients to understand their data needs and requirements, particularly related to Salesforce data.
• Design and implement data pipelines to extract, transform, and load (ETL) Salesforce data into data warehouses or other storage systems.
• Normalize and cleanse Salesforce data to ensure accuracy, consistency, and integrity.
• Fine-tune data models and algorithms to improve data quality and reliability.
• Develop and maintain data processing scripts and workflows using programming languages such as Python, SQL, or Java.
• Implement data governance and security measures to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Work closely with data scientists and business analysts to develop data-driven insights and recommendations.
• Monitor and optimize data pipelines for performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Provide training and support to clients on how to use and maintain data pipelines and tools.

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or related field.
• Proven experience as a Data Engineer with a focus on Salesforce data.
• Strong understanding of Salesforce platform and its data model.
• Experience designing and implementing data pipelines to extract, transform, and load Salesforce data.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, SQL, or Java.
• Experience with data modeling, normalization, and cleansing techniques.
• Familiarity with ETL tools and frameworks such as Apache Spark, Talend, or Informatica.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Salesforce certifications such as Salesforce Certified Administrator (ADM 201) or Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
• Knowledge of data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
• Experience working in a consulting or professional services environment
