This role is for an individual contributor responsible for independently developing and delivering end-to-end data solutions for fraud detection, reporting, and Machine Learning (ML).

Role & responsibilities

• Drive efficiency by mapping data flows and ensuring standardization in line with data governance.
• Develop real-time event-based streaming data pipelines and efficient, scalable data ingestion solutions.
• Unify disparate datasets into well-managed solutions.
• Own end-to-end data and data applications by defining, monitoring, and adjusting relevant SLIs and SLOs.
• Ensure compliance with data-related requirements and proactively monitor system performance.

Preferred candidate profile

• 4+ years of experience in data engineering or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience building data pipelines at scale, with technologies such as Hadoop, Cassandra, Kafka, Spark, HBase, MySQL.
• Looking for strong hands-on experience on AWS or Azure services, Kafka, snowflake, BigData.
• Experience with server-side programming languages, preferably Scala, Java, Python, or Perl.
• Experience with AWS based databases and services (such as DynamoDB, RDS, Kinesis, S3).
• Experience in building data lake, data warehouse solutions (e.g., Snowflake), data modeling, and data streaming.
