Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and ETL/ELT workflows using Azure Data Factory, Databricks, and other Azure services.
  • Build and manage data lake and data warehouse solutions (e.g., Azure Data Lake, Synapse Analytics).
  • Optimize data storage, retrieval, and performance across structured and unstructured data sources.
  • Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business users to enable self-service BI and advanced analytics.
  • Implement data governance, data quality, and security best practices across all data solutions.
  • Automate processes for monitoring, logging, and performance tuning.
  • Work in an Agile/DevOps environment to support CI/CD pipelines for data solutions.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (Master's preferred).
  • Proven experience as a Data Engineer with strong expertise in Microsoft Azure ecosystem.
  • Hands-on experience with:
  • Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Lake (Gen2)
  • SQL, Python, PySpark, or Scala
  • Azure DevOps / Git for CI/CD
  • Strong knowledge of data modeling, data warehousing, and ETL/ELT concepts.
  • Experience with performance optimization and big data processing frameworks.
  • Familiarity with data governance, compliance, and security practices in cloud environments
