We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer to join our growing technology team. In this role, you will work on designing, developing, and optimizing scalable data solutions and custom software components that support business-critical systems. You'll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, use modern frameworks and agile practices, and contribute to high-performance, reliable data platforms.

Role Overview

As a Data Engineer, you will be responsible for building and maintaining data pipelines, improving data quality, and enabling analytics and business intelligence across the organization. You'll play a key role in translating business requirements into efficient technical solutions while continuously improving system performance and user experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust data pipelines and ETL processes
• Build scalable, high-performance data solutions across systems and applications
• Analyze, troubleshoot, and optimize existing data workflows and architectures
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and business teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications
• Ensure code quality, performance, and security through code reviews and best practices
• Work independently and contribute as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) within the team
• Participate actively in agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and team discussions
• Continuously evaluate and adopt new tools, technologies, and methodologies in data engineering

Must-Have Technical Skills

• Strong hands-on experience in Data Engineering
• Solid understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, and ETL concepts
• Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS and/or Azure
• Proficiency in Python and/or Java
• Strong working knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases
• Experience with performance optimization and scalable system design

• Experience working in agile / scrum environments
• Exposure to large-scale or distributed data systems
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams
• Good communication skills and a proactive mindset
