Data Engineer

• Associate-level Data Engineer role focused on building scalable, secure, and data-driven solutions
• Supports digital-first customer experiences through modern data platforms
• Contributes to simplifying banking processes using insight-led data engineering

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, test, maintain, and optimise scalable data architectures
• Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading to support analytics and data science use cases
• Develop a strong understanding of enterprise data structures, metrics, and dependencies
• Apply DevOps practices to data engineering workflows, including monitoring, root cause analysis, and issue resolution
• Work with cloud-based data platforms to deliver cost-effective and strategic data solutions
• Source, integrate, and manage new datasets using appropriate tools and technologies
• Ensure data quality, security, and compliance while handling large-scale datasets

Required Experience

• Minimum of five years of hands-on experience in data engineering
• Proven experience working with large-scale, complex datasets
• Strong foundation in data and software engineering principles
• Experience delivering production-grade data pipelines and platforms
