Data Engineer

Job Title: Data Engineer (8 Months Contract)

Job Duration: 8 months contract

Salary: SGD 10,000 - 15,000 per month

We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will support data infrastructure and pipeline development by designing, building, and maintaining scalable data systems that power analytics and product insights .

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT workflows to enable analytics, reporting, and machine learning initiatives.
• Create and optimize large-scale data models, schemas, and data warehouse architectures for enhanced performance and cost-efficiency.
• Collaborate with Data Scientists, Product Managers, and Software Engineers to gather data requirements and deliver effective data solutions.
• Establish and monitor data quality frameworks, including validation, anomaly detection, and alerting systems to ensure data integrity.
• Implement best practices for data governance, privacy compliance, and lifecycle management to uphold data standards and security.

Qualifications:

• At least 5 years of hands-on experience in data engineering, data platform development, or related technical roles.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL and experience working with large-scale data warehouses such as Hive, Spark, or Presto.
• Strong programming skills in Python or Java for building automated data pipelines and workflows.
• Proven experience designing, deploying, and managing production-grade ETL/ELT pipelines with workflow orchestration tools.
• In-depth knowledge of data modeling techniques, including star/snowflake schemas, dimensional modeling, and data vault methodologies.
