We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data Engineer with strong software development and data engineering expertise. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain CI/CD pipelines, automation workflows, and cloud infrastructure using Azure technologies and DevOps practices. You'll also work on AI-driven automation, leveraging ML, co-pilot abilities, and LLMs to enhance build, test, deployment, and DevOps efficiency.

Qualifications

Required

• Bachelor's in Computer Science, Math, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field AND 2+ years of experience in business analytics, data science, data modeling, or data engineering
• OR
• Master's in a related field
• OR
• Equivalent experience
• Industry experience in a deep technical role, with at least 2 years building products in Business Intelligence, Analytics, Cloud services, or Productivity applications
• Experience with data pipelining and transformation technologies (e.g., Spark) and the Azure Data tech stack
• Hands-on experience with big data technologies and data analytics tools
• Strong data visualization skills with a focus on driving business impact
• Knowledge of machine learning/predictive modeling is a plus
• Strong team player with excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Proven ability to self-direct and execute effectively

Other Requirements

• Must pass Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter

Preferred

• Prior experience in DevOps
• Experience working with global teams and multiple stakeholders
• Experience building and operationalizing ML models in production
• Strong problem-solving and decomposition skills with technical articulation
• Ability to work independently and in a collaborative, team-oriented environment
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable, reliable, and secure software using microservices, event-driven architecture, and cloud infrastructure
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps, automating build, test, and deployment processes while integrating AI/ML for predictive diagnostics and intelligent automation
• Build reusable components, frameworks, and libraries to support faster and higher-quality development
• Apply best practices in CI/CD, infrastructure as code, observability, and debugging to ensure smooth software delivery
• Use AI/ML techniques to solve complex problems and develop innovative solutions
• Rapidly prototype Proof of Concepts (PoCs), especially with AI/ML capabilities
