Tasks
Your main tasks include, among others:
- Gather and analyze business requirements
- Identify relationships between business needs and the existing data model
- Identify new necessary data sources
- Provide proof-of-concepts in direct cooperation with the business
- Plan and estimate the realization of identified requirements
- Implement new functionalities based on gathered requirements
- Develop changes and improvements in existing processes
- Analyze exceptional data configurations
- Implement import and export processes into and from the data warehouse
- Constantly learn business aspects
- Prepare documentation for each step and the final product
Requirements
Must-Haves
- Work experience in Data Processing with Databases and Data Warehouses
- Experience with database procedural languages (e.g. BTEQ, T-SQL, PL/SQL) and ETL tools
- Very good knowledge in SQL, with Teradata SQL preferred
- Understanding and experience in Data Warehouse principles
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar position
- Knowledge and understanding of cloud technology, with practical experience in MS Azure being a plus
- Knowledge of Version Control tools
- A proactive team player with very good communication and analytical skills
Nice-to-Haves
- General knowledge of Unix/Linux systems
- Database operations experience (partitioning, index/statistics maintenance, performance analysis)
- Experience with Teradata technology
- Knowledge of Python (Numpy, Pandas); Agile/Scrum methodologies (Spotify model or SAFe)
