Job Title:Data Engineer (Azure Data Factory / Fabric Specialist)

Target Salary:Up to 25 LPA INR
Shift Timings:6:30 PM to 3:30 AM IST (could be rotational with 2PM-11PM shift)
Location:Noida or Hyderabad
Start Date:June 1, 2026

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Data Engineer / BI Engineer to manage and optimize data pipelines and integration within our analytics environment focused in Power BI reporting. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL, Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, data modeling, and ETL processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support break/fix issues, minor enhancements, and administration of Azure Data Factory (50%), Azure SQL (20%), and Fabric/Power BI (30%).
• Design, implement, and maintain Azure Data Factory pipelines for data ingestion from SAP BW to Azure SQL and Fabric dataflows.
• Monitor and troubleshoot pipeline and dataflow failures or performance, ensuring early detection and resolution of issues. Perform root-cause analysis for recurring problems and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with the Analytics team to validate data integrity between source extracts and Power BI reporting outputs.
• Support the administration and enhancement of Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL, and Fabric.
• Document processes, fixes, and support procedures to facilitate effective knowledge sharing.
• Assist with Power BI development and issue resolution, as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience in data engineering or ETL development, specifically within Microsoft Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL, and Fabric environments.
• Significant hands-on experience with Power BI and Power BI Service/Fabric.
• Strong proficiency in writing complex SQL for querying, troubleshooting, data validation, and report support.
• Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills for identifying and resolving data issues across the source-to-report pipeline.
• Strong communication and documentation skills for effective collaboration with team members and stakeholders.
• Ability to work efficiently within a structured support model, ensuring timely resolution of incidents.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in managed services or Application Management Services (AMS) in an enterprise analytics and reporting platform that handles high volumes of data and frequent refresh cycles.
• Power BI report development experience is a plus
• Understanding of SAP BW as a source dependency for data ingestion.
• Experience with Fabric and Azure Data Factory administration and capacity management.
• Relevant certifications in Azure, Fabric, or Power BI.
