OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE

As a Python Senior Technical Lead – Data Analysis, SQL, you will play a pivotal role in architecting and delivering advanced data-driven solutions for HCLTech's global client base. This leadership position is responsible for guiding cross-functional teams through complex technical projects that leverage the power of SQL, data analytics, and Python programming. Your expertise will drive intelligent automation, enhance data quality, and provide actionable business insights, directly impacting strategic decision-making and the organization's digital transformation initiatives.

DETAILED RESPONSIBILITIES

- Lead end-to-end technical projects focused on SQL database management, data analysis, and Python-based automation from conceptualization to deployment.

- Design, develop, and optimize robust SQL databases, complex queries, and stored procedures to support mission-critical applications and analytics.

- Conduct thorough data analysis, extracting, cleaning, and interpreting data to generate valuable business insights and support data-driven decision-making.

- Develop, maintain, and enhance Python scripts to automate business processes, streamline workflows, and enable efficient data manipulation.

- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams—including business analysts, data scientists, and software engineers—to integrate solutions and ensure seamless system interoperability.

- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to SQL databases, data analytics pipelines, and Python scripts, ensuring high system reliability and performance.

- Continuously monitor industry trends and emerging technologies; recommend and implement system enhancements to maintain HCLTech's technological edge.

- Present analytical findings and technical solutions to stakeholders using data visualization tools and clear communication strategies.

SKILL REQUIREMENTS

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

- Extensive hands-on experience with SQL: designing, developing, and optimizing databases, writing advanced queries, and creating stored procedures.

- Strong proficiency in Python programming, particularly for automation, data manipulation, and scripting.

- Demonstrated expertise in data analytics: extracting, cleaning, analyzing, and interpreting complex data sets to deliver actionable insights.

- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, or Matplotlib) to communicate findings effectively.

- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting abilities with keen attention to detail.

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and stakeholders.

- Proven leadership experience in managing technical teams and project delivery.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS (OPTIONAL)

- Relevant certifications in SQL, Python, or Data Analytics are highly desirable.

- Experience in cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud) for data management and analytics is advantageous.

- Familiarity with agile methodologies and DevOps practices.

- Prior experience in the technology consulting or IT services industry is a plus.
