Data Engineer GCP

Description

We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing and implementing data solutions using Google Cloud Platform. This role requires a deep understanding of data processing, data quality, and data architecture.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement data pipelines on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to process and analyze large datasets.
• Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to understand data requirements and deliver solutions accordingly.
• Ensure data quality and integrity through rigorous testing and monitoring.
• Optimize existing data processes for performance and cost efficiency.
• Develop and maintain documentation for data architecture and processes.

Skills and Qualifications

• 5-12 years of experience in data engineering or a related field.
• Proficiency in Google Cloud Platform services such as BigQuery, Dataflow, and Pub/Sub.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and experience with NoSQL databases.
• Experience with ETL tools and data pipeline frameworks.
• Familiarity with programming languages such as Python or Java.
• Understanding of data modeling concepts and data warehousing principles.
• Experience with version control systems such as Git.
