Data Engineer - GCP

Position: Senior GCP Data Engineer

Location: Remote

Project Duration: 3+ Months (extendable subject to availability)

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled 6-7 Years experienced Senior GCP Data Engineer to design, develop, and optimize scalable, cloud-native data pipelines and AI-ready data platforms on Google

Cloud. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with GCP services and

modern data engineering practices.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and build scalable, high-performance data pipelines on Google Cloud

Develop and maintain batch and real-time (streaming) data processing systems

Optimize data workflows for performance, reliability, and scalability

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support AI/ML data requirements

Ensure data quality, governance, and security best practices

Manage and monitor production-grade data pipelines

Required Skills:

Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

Expertise in BigQuery, Cloud SQL, Pub/Sub, and Vertex AI

Proficiency in Python and PySpark for data engineering workloads

Experience with Dataflow and Dataproc for batch and streaming pipelines

Hands-on experience with Apache Airflow for workflow orchestration

Strong understanding of data architecture and pipeline design

Excellent communication and collaboration skills
