Team Description
We are building a best-in-class, modernised Asset Management platform - spanning core investment platforms, AI solutions, and reusable engineering capabilities - to help investment, distribution, operations, and technology teams deliver faster, smarter, and more scalable business outcomes.
The team will provide an end-to-end delivery capability - from identifying and shaping high-value opportunities, through rapid prototyping and secure production release, to ongoing monitoring and support - so solutions can be delivered faster, consistently, and at scale.

You are expected to work effectively in a modern data engineering environment, using cloud data platforms, automation, DevOps practices, and AI-assisted development tools to deliver secure, scalable, and production-ready data capabilities. This role requires close collaboration with application teams, architects, data owners, platform teams, and business stakeholders to make enterprise data accessible, trusted, governed, and reusable.
As Modern Data Engineer, you design, build, and operate data pipelines, integration patterns, data models, and reusable components across structured and unstructured sources. You support deterministic business applications, analytics, automation, and AI-enabled use cases by ensuring data is delivered reliably, consistently, and with the right controls.
You are responsible for production-grade data solutions across batch, streaming, API-based, and event-driven patterns. This includes ingestion, transformation, orchestration, data quality checks, metadata, lineage, access controls, monitoring, and operational support.
You also help modernise data delivery through reusable connectors, templates, reference pipelines, data contracts, semantic models, documentation, and dashboards. Where relevant, you support AI and advanced analytics needs, including search, retrieval, and governed data exposure, while keeping the focus on trusted, reusable, business-ready data capabilities.
