Data Engineer

WE'RE HIRING | DATA ENGINEER – AZURE / DBT / MICROSOFT FABRIC

FabConnect is looking for a strong Data Engineer with hands-on expertise in building scalable modern data platforms using SQL, DBT, Azure Data Factory and Microsoft Fabric.

CTC: Up to 30 LPA

Notice Period: Immediate Joiners Only

Time Zone: IST

Employment: Full-Time

Key Responsibilities

Design and build scalable ETL / ELT pipelines using Azure Data Factory and Fabric Data Factory

Implement batch, incremental and CDC-based ingestion from cloud and on-premise sources

Build complex SQL transformations, stored procedures, views and analytical datasets

Perform SQL performance tuning using indexing, partitioning, statistics and execution plans

Develop modular DBT models across staging, intermediate and marts layers

Implement DBT tests, macros, documentation and incremental models

Build and manage Microsoft Fabric Lakehouse / Warehouse solutions

Work with Delta / Parquet, medallion architecture and schema evolution

Implement automated data-quality checks, monitoring, SLA tracking and alerting

Manage CI/CD through Azure DevOps / GitHub Actions

Implement data governance, RBAC, secrets management, RLS/OLS and metadata standards
