Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer with strong expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP), SQL, and large-scale data engineering solutions within the Banking and Financial Services domain. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data pipelines, data warehouses, and cloud-based data platforms that support analytics, reporting, regulatory, and business intelligence initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize scalable data pipelines for batch and real-time processing.
• Build and maintain enterprise data platforms on GCP.
• Develop robust ETL/ELT workflows to ingest, transform, and load data from multiple banking systems.
• Collaborate with business, analytics, data science, and technology teams to understand data requirements.
• Implement data quality, validation, reconciliation, and monitoring processes.
• Optimize SQL queries and database performance for large datasets.
• Support cloud migration and modernization initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with banking security, governance, and regulatory standards.
• Troubleshoot data issues and provide production support.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
• 6–12 years of overall IT experience.
• Strong experience in Data Engineering and Cloud Data Platforms.
• Experience delivering enterprise-scale data solutions in Banking or Financial Services.
