Proven expertise in architecting robust ETL/ELT pipelines, real-time data integration using Data Stage, and advanced data analytics solutions.
Design, implement, and maintain data pipelines using DataStage, ensuring efficient processing and analysis of large volumes of data.
Familiar with the functionality of data stage director and scheduling tools.
Automate data-related tasks and processes using Data Stage enhancing efficiency and scalability.
Proficient in SQL query optimization, stored procedure development, and data integration across diverse sources.
Should be able to debug the jobs in case of failure and good to have experience working in L3 support.
Develop and optimize T-SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions to support data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.
Implement data governance and quality control measures to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of data.
Document data models, processes, and procedures, ensuring knowledge transfer and compliance with best practices.
Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends, evaluating new tools and methodologies to improve data engineering practices.

Required Skills

At least 4 years of relevant working experience with DataStage.
Develop robust and scalable data pipelines and workflows on azure with technologies like DataStage
Proficiency in TSQL query writing in SQL Server.
Knowledge of data modeling and database design principles.
Good to have proven experience working with SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) and SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS).
Experience in optimizing and tuning ETL processes and SQL queries for performance.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, ETL best practices, and database administration.
