Position Title: Data Bricks Engineer

Location: India (Remote)

Job Type: Full Time

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Databricks Engineer with 26 years of experience in data engineering and big data technologies. The candidate will be responsible for building scalable data pipelines and optimizing data workflows using Databricks and Spark.

Job Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines using Databricks

Work extensively with PySpark and Spark SQL

Implement and manage data using Delta Lake

Design and optimize data models for analytics

Work with cloud platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP)

Ensure data quality, performance tuning, and cost optimization

Collaborate with cross-functional teams for data integration

Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering.

Hands-on experience with Databricks platform

Strong knowledge of PySpark / Spark SQL

Experience with Delta Lake

Good understanding of SQL and Python

Experience working with cloud storage (ADLS/S3)

Knowledge of data warehousing concepts

Preferred / Nice to Have:

Experience with orchestration tools (ADF/Airflow)

Exposure to streaming (Kafka/Structured Streaming)

Databricks or Cloud certification (added advantage)
