Data Engineer - Contract

Job Overview

We are looking for a motivated and dynamic Data Engineer who is passionate about working with data, databases, and cloud technologies. The associate will assist in building data pipelines, writing SQL queries, and preparing data for reporting and AI/ML applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Write and optimize MS SQL queries
• Assist in building ETL/ELT data pipelines
• Clean, transform, and validate data
• Support database design (tables, views, stored procedures)
• Prepare datasets for Power BI dashboards
• Assist in data preparation for AI/ML models
• Work with APIs, JSON, CSV data sources

Required Skills

• Good knowledge of MS SQL (joins, group by, indexing basics)
• Understanding of database concepts and schema design
• Basic knowledge of data warehousing concepts
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Good to Have

• Basic Python (Pandas)
• Exposure to Azure SQL / Azure Data Factory
• Azure Databrick
• Basic Power BI knowledge
• Familiarity with Git

Qualification

• BCA / MCA / B.Tech / M.Tech (CS / IT / Data-related fields)
• Final year students or recent graduates.
