Data Engineer

We're Hiring: Data Engineer With handson AI & LLM usage | Chennai

We're looking for a Data Engineer with 1–3 years of experience, a strong foundation in modern AI/ML data workflows, and expert-level SQL skills to join our team in Chennai.

What You'll Do:

• Design, develop, and maintain robust ETL/ELT data pipelines using Python and dbt
• Write, analyze, and intensely optimize complex SQL queries for high-throughput analytical, relational, and vector workloads
• Build data ingestion, chunking, and transformation workflows to power AI and LLM systems
• Integrate data from APIs, databases, vector stores, and external unstructured sources
• Manage infrastructure workflows and pipelines leveraging AWS cloud services and Git for version control
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize data pipelines for peak performance and scalability

What We're Looking For:

• 1–3 years of experience in Data Engineering
• Strong expertise in SQL query optimization, indexing, and performance tuning
• Solid experience with dbt (data build tool) for modular data modeling and transformations
• Strong experience in Python and PostgreSQL/SQL
• Hands-on experience with AWS and Git workflows
• Familiarity with LLM tools, vector databases, and AI/ML data pipelines (e.g., embeddings, RAG data preparation)
• Experience with REST APIs and third-party data integration
• Ability to work onsite from our Chennai office
• Excellent communication skills in English
