Cloud202 is an AWS Advanced Tier Services Partner building engineering-grade agentic AI for enterprise clients across the UK, EU, and GCC. We're hiring a fully remote Data Engineer (India-based) to build the data layer beneath Qubitz, our agentic AI platform where correctness, data quality, and attribution are architectural properties, not afterthoughts.

What you'll do

Design and build production data pipelines on AWS that turn raw, messy sources into trusted, agent-ready knowledge: ingestion and ETL across curated datasets, documents, APIs, and streams; quality gates and validation against expected outcomes; medallion lakehouse storage; and end-to-end lineage that holds up under ISO 42001 and EU AI Act audit. You'll work closely with our AI and architecture teams to keep data findable, governed, and retrievable by agents.

What we're looking for

• 3+ years of hands-on Data Engineering experience, with a meaningful portion on AWS
• Strong working knowledge of AWS data services: S3, Glue, Iceberg, Lambda, Step Functions, Kinesis/MSK
• Solid Python and SQL — production-grade, not tutorial-grade
• You build for reproducibility and audit, default to deterministic transforms, and treat data quality as a gated, first-class stage
• Experience with data quality frameworks (Glue Data Quality / Deequ), schema enforcement, and lineage tooling (OpenLineage) is a strong plus
• Exposure to vector stores, knowledge graphs (Neptune), or RAG pipelines is welcome but not required

Nice to have

Lake Formation and fine-grained access control, multi-tenant SaaS data isolation, Bedrock or LLM-based data preparation, GDPR and regulated-market data handling.
