Role Overview
We are looking for a hands-on Data Engineer to work on modern cloud data platforms, primarily focused on Snowflake or equivalent cloud data warehouse technologies.
This is a delivery-focused role. You will be expected to independently design, build, and maintain reliable data pipelines, take ownership of data quality and performance, and work closely with analytics and business stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain production-grade data pipelines on Snowflake or similar platforms
- Ingest and integrate data from multiple internal and external data sources
- Manage cloud data warehouse architecture with a focus on performance, cost, and reliability
- Ensure data accuracy and consistency through validation, monitoring, and issue resolution
- Collaborate with analysts, data scientists, and stakeholders to deliver analytics-ready datasets
- Automate data workflows and manage scheduling using orchestration tools
- Troubleshoot and resolve data pipeline and performance issues
- Maintain clear, concise documentation of data pipelines and architecture
Requirements
Experience:
Proven experience working as a Data Engineer with hands-on exposure to Snowflake or similar cloud data warehouse platforms
Technical Skills
Strong SQL skills for data transformation and analytics
Experience building data pipelines using Snowflake or equivalent technologies
Working knowledge of Python or similar scripting languages
Understanding of cloud data warehouse concepts including performance and cost optimization
Experience integrating data from APIs or external systems
Cloud Platform
Experience working with at least one major cloud platform: AWS, Azure, or GCP
Soft Skills
Strong problem-solving and analytical mindset
High attention to detail and data quality
Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams
Good to Have
- Snowflake SnowPro Core or Advanced certification
- Experience with workflow orchestration tools such as Airflow
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools
- Exposure to advanced analytics or ML-related data workflows
