Responsibilities
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Informatics, Information Systems, or another quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience
- 7-10 years of experience in Data Engineering or a closely related technical role
- Hands-on experience designing, building, and operating modern data pipelines and data platforms
- Strong problem-solving skills, including the ability to perform root cause analysis on internal and external data and processes
- Ability to manage work across multiple projects with strong organizational and prioritization skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical partners
Qualifications
- Advanced working knowledge of SQL and experience working with relational databases Any Database experience
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, Scala, Go, and SQL
- Experience with big data technologies and platforms including Databricks, Spark, Kafka, and cloud-native data services
- Experience building and optimizing large-scale data pipelines, architectures, and data sets
- Strong understanding of ETL/ELT patterns and data engineering best practices
- Ability to develop, support, and operate data platforms across cloud and enterprise
