Data Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data architecture and engineering, with a focus on building robust data pipelines and ensuring data quality. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to provide data solutions that drive business insights and decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain data pipelines and architectures.
• Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to understand data requirements.
• Optimize data storage and retrieval processes to improve efficiency.
• Implement data quality checks and data validation processes.
• Monitor and troubleshoot data flow and performance issues.
• Work with large datasets and ensure data integrity and availability.

Skills and Qualifications

• 6-11 years of experience in data engineering or a related field.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.
• Strong experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Cassandra).
• Familiarity with data warehousing solutions like Amazon Redshift, Google BigQuery, or Snowflake.
• Experience with ETL tools and frameworks (e.g., Apache Airflow, Talend, or Informatica).
• Knowledge of big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark, Kafka) is a plus.
• Understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their data services.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
