We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer with strong expertise in Azure and Databricks to join our team. This is a full-time, 100% in-office role based in Bangalore.
Key Expectations:
- Strong expertise in SQL, SSIS, and Python
- Hands-on experience with Spark and exposure to Palantir Foundry
- Experience working with Azure DevOps (but not heavy Azure resource management)
- Good understanding of data modeling, preferably using Kimball methodology
- Experience in building and enhancing SQL-based data pipelines
- Ability to support data engineering work aligned with AI/innovation teams
Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver solutions on SQL Server (including SQL 2025 environment)
- Work on data modeling and ensure data flows into ontology systems
- Modify and enhance existing ETL/processes
- Monitor and maintain daily data jobs
- Handle database performance tuning, including query and index optimization
- Support faster data delivery to business stakeholders
