Role Overview

We are hiring an experienced AWS Data Engineer with strong expertise in Redshift, PySpark, and Glue to design and implement scalable data solutions for BFSI projects. The candidate will work on building data pipelines, optimizing data warehouses, and handling large datasets in a cloud environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain ETL pipelines using AWS Glue and PySpark.
• Design and optimize Amazon Redshift data warehouses for performance and scalability.
• Implement data ingestion and transformation workflows for structured and semi-structured data.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data quality, security, and compliance.
• Monitor and troubleshoot data processes to ensure reliability and efficiency.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint deliverables.

Required Skills

• Strong proficiency in AWS services: Glue, Redshift, S3, Lambda.
• Hands-on experience with PySpark for big data processing.
• Expertise in SQL and query optimization for Redshift.
• Solid understanding of data modeling and data warehousing concepts.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control tools (Git).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (CloudFormation/Terraform).
• Knowledge of data lake architecture and best practices.
• Exposure to financial domain (BFSI) projects.
