Data Engineer

Summary

We are seeking an experienced professional with a strong background in data integration and data warehousing. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with the Snowflake Cloud Database platform and will focus on SQL development.

Job Responsibilities

• Create data pipelines and write complex SQL queries.
• Follow support processes with a focus on ITSM incident management.
• Communicate with business partners to understand and resolve P1/P2/P3/P4 tickets, including issue impact and resolution.
• Handle business partner inquiries, coordinating resolutions with various support groups.
• Follow end-to-end change request management tasks, including requirement gathering from business, creating and reviewing functional requirement documents, performing manual unit testing and integration testing of new functionality, and ensuring 100% SOX compliance.
  

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Minimum 5-7 years of experience in data integration and data warehousing domain.
• Minimum 5 years of experience on the Snowflake Cloud Database platform.
• Proficient in writing complex SQL scripts and stored procedures.
• Good knowledge of data modeling and data warehousing concepts.
• Bachelor&rsquos degree in Engineering - BE / B.Tech.
• Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills.
• Other cloud databases or integration tool knowledge (Snaplogic/IBM DataStage/SSIS/Talend) is an added advantage.
• Flexibility to work in rotational shifts, including night shifts.
• Client/business partner-facing skills.
• Follow end-to-end change request management tasks for functional requirements/business council items using Agile methodology
