As a Data Engineer, a typical day involves designing, developing, and maintaining comprehensive data solutions that support the generation, collection, and processing of data. The role includes creating efficient data pipelines to facilitate smooth data flow, ensuring the accuracy and quality of data throughout its lifecycle, and implementing processes to extract, transform, and load data across various systems. This position requires continuous collaboration with different teams to optimize data management and support organizational data needs effectively.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
• Responsible for team decisions.
• Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
• Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
• Lead efforts to identify and resolve data-related challenges to improve system performance and reliability.
• Mentor junior team members to enhance their technical skills and understanding of data engineering practices.
  
  

Professional & Technical Skills:

• Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Google BigQuery.
• Strong experience in designing and implementing scalable data pipelines and ETL workflows.
• Expertise in data modeling, data warehousing concepts, and performance tuning within cloud environments.
• Ability to work with large datasets and optimize queries for efficient data retrieval and processing.
• Familiarity with scripting languages and automation tools to streamline data operations.
• Knowledge of data governance, data quality standards, and best practices in data security.
