Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced Data Program / Delivery Manager to lead enterprise-scale data transformation programs for Banking & Financial Services clients. The ideal candidate will have proven experience delivering Modern Data Platform implementations on Microsoft Azure for U.S. banking organizations, with expertise in Data Lakes, Data Warehouses, Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Factory, and Azure Databricks.
This role requires strong delivery ownership, customer governance, onsite-offshore team management, and the ability to drive AI-enabled data initiatives, business intelligence, and enterprise reporting while ensuring successful end-to-end program delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Program & Delivery Leadership
- Lead end-to-end delivery of enterprise data transformation programs.
- Partner with project sponsors and business stakeholders to define project goals, deliverables, and acceptance criteria.
- Drive delivery execution across enterprise data engineering teams and external delivery partners.
- Create and manage detailed project plans, sprint backlogs, and delivery roadmaps.
- Re-plan delivery activities and resolve project obstacles to ensure successful outcomes.
- Manage delivery governance, risks, dependencies, and issue resolution throughout the program lifecycle.
Customer & Stakeholder Management
- Independently lead governance discussions with customer stakeholders.
- Coordinate day-to-day delivery activities with enterprise data teams.
- Facilitate stand-ups, cadence meetings, and stakeholder alignment sessions.
- Support business requirement gathering, user story creation, and backlog prioritization.
- Present delivery updates and strategic recommendations to senior leadership.
Data Platform Transformation
- Lead implementations of Modern Data Platforms using:
- Microsoft Fabric
- Azure Data Factory
- Azure Databricks
- Azure Data Lake
- Azure Data Warehouse
- Drive enterprise data modernization initiatives across Banking & Financial Services programs.
- Ensure scalable, secure, and high-performance data platform implementations.
Banking Domain Delivery
- Lead programs involving banking data domains including:
- Customer
- Deposits
- Accounts
- Transactions
- Support enterprise data initiatives across lending, payments, reporting, and related banking functions.
- Apply banking domain expertise to improve delivery effectiveness and customer outcomes.
AI, Analytics & Reporting
- Drive adoption of AI-enabled capabilities within enterprise data platforms.
- Support implementation of AI-driven data solutions.
- Ensure delivery of Business Intelligence and reporting capabilities aligned with business objectives.
Team Leadership
- Lead onsite and offshore delivery teams across multiple locations.
- Assign responsibilities, manage resources, and oversee delivery execution.
- Mentor delivery managers, technical leads, and engineering teams.
- Drive collaboration across business, architecture, engineering, and delivery functions.
Governance & Financial Management
- Manage program budgets, forecasts, and delivery metrics.
- Track delivery performance, productivity, quality, and program health.
- Ensure compliance with enterprise governance frameworks.
- Manage third-party delivery relationships and vendor coordination.

Experience
- 15+ years of experience delivering enterprise-scale data programs end-to-end.
- Proven experience delivering Modern Data Platform implementations for U.S. Banking organizations.
- Experience leading onsite-offshore delivery teams.
- Strong experience managing customer governance independently.
- Experience managing medium to large enterprise accounts.
