Your Role And Responsibilities
As a Data Consultant specializing in Data Governance, you will design, implement, and maintain data governance and data management processes for clients. This role involves collaborating with stakeholders to deliver data governance solutions and ensure effective data quality and metadata management. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Design Data Governance Processes: Develop and implement data governance processes, including stakeholder analysis, communication plans, and execution of communications to ensure effective data management.
- Create Metadata Management Repositories: Design and create metadata management repositories to capture business and data quality rules, and develop data quality reports and dashboards to monitor and report on data quality.
- Implement Data Quality Rules: Collaborate with technical resources to implement data quality rules and automate monitoring and reporting to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
- Facilitate Issue Resolution: Operate issue tracking processes and facilitate resolution with clients to ensure prompt and effective issue resolution.
- Maintain Data Governance Solutions: Maintain and update data governance processes and solutions to ensure ongoing data quality and metadata management.

Required Technical And Professional Expertise
- Exposure to Data Governance Technologies: Foundational understanding of data governance technologies for data quality and metadata management, including design and implementation of data governance processes.
- Data Quality and Metadata Management: Experience working with data quality and metadata management concepts, including developing data quality reports and dashboards to monitor and report on data quality.
- Stakeholder Analysis and Communication: Exposure to stakeholder analysis and communication planning, including execution of communications to ensure effective data management.
- Technical Collaboration: Experience working with technical resources to implement data quality rules and automate monitoring and reporting.
- Issue Tracking and Resolution: Exposure to issue tracking processes and facilitating resolution with clients to ensure prompt and effective issue resolution.

- Data Governance Tools: Exposure to data governance tools and technologies for data quality and metadata management, including data catalogues and business glossaries.
