Job Description

This role is to support a Singapore based asset management firm in the middle office operations. The shortlisted candidate will be based out of Crisil Pune office.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Requirements Gathering:

  • Elicits requirements from internal and external stakeholders.
  • Analyses and validates requirements using a systematic, disciplined and analytical approach to problem solving.
  • Conducts impact assessment to identify the as-is processes, systems, and the future processes, systems and structures.
  • Performs data analysis to cleanse & standardize data and to ensure data consistency and quality.
  • Performs gaps and resolutions analysis.
  • Ensures requirements are complete.
  • Documents requirement/processes using industry standard notations.
  • Maintains relationships with internal and external stakeholders (Middle Office service provider) and obtains formal signoff of all requirement documentation.

 

Solution Assessment and Validation:

  • Works closely with the Architecture team to ensure solutions are optimal.
  • Participate and supports E2E UAT on Data Changes requested

 

Change Management and Implementation Support:

  • Supports Change Management activities :
    • by providing information as required to
    • facilitate effective communications.
    • Provides project support to the impacted
    • teams during implementation phases,
    • including answering queries, trouble
    • shooting, liaison with service provider,
    • providing Work with internal teams in Investment Operations Services to understand and prioritize their requirements
    • Lialise with Middle office service provider to ensure changes are implemented effectively
    • Report all changes to the management

 

GENERAL CANDIDATE ATTRIBUTES

  • Has strong interpersonal skills, able to communicate effectively and proactively with external and internal stakeholders.
  • Understands defined Data Change methodologies and impacts
  • Experience in working within the asset management or equivalent industries
  • Is self-motivated, self-driving and independent.
  • Attentive to detail and able to handle ambiguity.
  • Fully fluent in standard office technology
  • Experienced in using flow charting, requirements capturing, stakeholder analysis, use cases, brainstorming and traceability.

DOMAIN SPECIFIC ATTRIBUTES:

  • Strong foundation in buy side enterprise data model including portfolio structure,
  • security reference data, market data, pricing, transactions & position, finance, and product data
  • Working knowledge in portfolio management and other buy side trade life cycle and monitoring processes.
  • Working experience in major asset classes and associated analytics.
  • Experienced in dealing directly with end users and service providers

EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS

  • Degree level or higher
  • 5-7 yrs Financial Services BA/Change experience (asset management desirable)
  • Fluency in both written and spoken English
