Required Technical Skill : Expertise in server/storage management, networking, virtualization, cloud platforms, monitoring tools, and ITIL-based operations.

Good to have Technical Skill Set Knowledge of cloud migration, scripting (PowerShell/Python), automation tools, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and data center compliance standards.

Responsibility of / Expectations from the Role

1 Ensure 24/7 uptime and operational efficiency of data center infrastructure. Lead and mentor technical teams handling servers, storage, and networking. Oversee hardware installations, upgrades, and preventive maintenance. Manage capacity planning, performance monitoring, and incident resolution. Implement security, compliance, and disaster recovery protocols. Coordinate with vendors and cross-functional teams for seamless operations. Drive automation, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives. Ensure high availability and optimal performance of data center infrastructure. Lead and manage data center operations including servers, storage, and network systems. Supervise installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware and software. Monitor system health, capacity, and performance metrics proactively. Implement and maintain security protocols and compliance standards. Manage incident, problem, and change management processes (ITIL framework). Coordinate with vendors and service providers for hardware/software support. Plan and execute infrastructure upgrades and migrations. Maintain accurate documentation of configurations, procedures, and inventory. Drive automation and process improvements for operational efficiency. Support disaster recovery and business continuity planning and testing. Collaborate with cross-functional teams for project execution and issue resolution. Conduct regular audits and risk assessments of data center operations. Ensure proper power and cooling management across racks and zones. Train and mentor junior staff and ensure adherence to operational standards.
