Role Description This is a full-time Data Center Engineer role based in Hyderabad, offered in a hybrid model with a mix of on-site and work-from-home flexibility. The Data Center Engineer will handle day-to-day data center operations, including monitoring systems, managing hardware, and ensuring uptime and reliability. Responsibilities include installing and maintaining servers and networking equipment, performing cabling tasks, and supporting the overall data center infrastructure. The role also involves troubleshooting technical issues, providing prompt technical support to internal teams, and documenting incidents and resolutions. The engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement best practices for capacity planning, security, and performance optimization within the data center environment.

Qualifications

Strong experience in data center operations and hands-on management of data center infrastructure.
Proficiency in troubleshooting and technical support for server, network, and storage environments.
Practical skills in cabling, equipment installation, and physical data center maintenance.
Knowledge of monitoring tools, incident management, and capacity planning for critical systems.
Understanding of networking fundamentals, hardware components, and power/cooling concepts.
Ability to work in a hybrid setup, manage on-site responsibilities in Hyderabad, and collaborate effectively with remote teams.
Relevant technical certification or degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
Prior experience in a data center or infrastructure engineering role will be considered an advantage.
