Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain automation solutions for data center operations.
- Collaborate with IT and operations teams to identify automation opportunities.
- Hands-on experience on VMWare and Hyper V.
- Design and optimize workflows for monitoring, provisioning, and managing data center resources.
- Write and maintain scripts in languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash to automate routine tasks.
- Use Infrastructure and software deployment using Terraform.
- Monitor performance and availability of data center systems and implement improvements.
- Conduct regular audits and performance assessments of automation processes.
- Ensure compliance with security policies and best practices in automation processes.
- Provide training and support to staff on automation tools and processes.
- Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in data center automation technologies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Proven experience in data center operations and automation (3 years preferred).
- Proficiency in automation tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, Chef) and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).
- Strong scripting skills in languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
- Knowledge of data center infrastructure components (servers, storage, networking).
- Familiarity with monitoring tools and practices (e.g., Nagios, Zabbix).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certifications in relevant technologies (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Cisco CCNA).
- Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
- Understanding of virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
