Job Description

Job Title: Data Center Automation & Control-COE-Tools(BMS, DCIM, CMMS)

Location: Chennai, Noida, Hyderabad, Bangalore.

Experience: 8years to 20 years.

The Role

The CoE BMS / DCIM / CMMS is a global Center-of-Excellence role responsible for defining, standardizing, and governing digital monitoring and management systems across AI-ready and hyperscale data centers.

This role serves as the technical authority for Building Management Systems (BMS), Data Center Infrastructure Management (DCIM), and Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS), ensuring integrated, secure, and scalable digital infrastructure visibility.

The position establishes global frameworks for telemetry, alarming, automation, analytics, and centralized operations monitoring across multi-site deployments.

The role supports greenfield builds, modernization programs, and digital transformation initiatives where real-time visibility and data-driven decisions are critical.

KeyResponsibilities:

Define and govern global standards for BMS, DCIM, and CMMS platforms

  • Develop unified monitoring architectures integrating power, cooling, and IT infrastructure
  • Develop alarm management and event prioritization frameworks
  • Standardize dashboards and operational reporting models
  • Enable predictive maintenance using analytics and telemetry insights
  • Define integration strategies between BMS, DCIM, CMMS, and ITSM platforms
  • Support API-based and middleware integrations across systems
  • Establish cybersecurity and access control frameworks for OT systems
  • Define remote monitoring and centralized command center models
  • Govern system scalability for multi-site global deployments
  • Review and approve controls logic and sequences of operation
  • Develop configuration and version control standards
  • Support commissioning validation for digital systems
  • Define data governance and retention strategies

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Controls, or Computer Engineering
  • 1012+ years in data center monitoring, controls, or facility management systems
  • Strong experience in BMS, DCIM, and CMMS platforms
  • Knowledge of OT protocols such as BACnet, Modbus, SNMP, OPC
  • Experience with hyperscale or AI data center environments
  • Strong understanding of data center MEP systems
  • Experience in system integration and platform interoperability
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity in critical environments
  • Experience supporting multi-site deployments
  • Strong documentation and presentation skills
