Data Business Analyst

Mandatory is: Should have recent hands-on working experience in Banking domain as a Data- Application or Software Analyst 

Qualification & Skills

• Bachelor's degree in a related field (IT, Computer Science, Data Science, or equivalent).

• 3+ years of experience as a Software Application Analyst or Software Analyst or Data Business Analyst.

• Must have working experience translating technical requirements into data specifications, ETL workflows and analytics solutions across within banking or financial industry

• Should have hands-on ETL processes and pipeline architecture using Azure Data Factory and Apache Airflow working experience

• Recent working experience ETL- data warehouse, DWH, Teradata OR databricks, data lake as a Data Business Analyst within Banking or Financial industry (1+ year)

• Hands-on experience in banking or financial services is required and a must

• 2+ years hands-on experience working with enterprise data platforms or analytics environments.

• 2+ years recent experience as Data- Application or Software Analyst, preferably in banking, finance, or data-related roles

• Hands-on working experience in data modelling, basic SQL, and other database management systems is a must

• Strong understanding and working experience of data platforms, infrastructure, and analytic tools (DataIku, OAS, Denodo, Feature Store) is mandatory

• Working experience in gathering and documenting business requirements for data platform initiatives, working closely with stakeholders across operations, finance, and technology teams

• Should experience with technical business needs into functional specifications and data requirements for ETL pipelines, data warehouses, and AI-integrated reporting solutions.

• Must have created and maintained BRDs, ETL data dictionaries, ETL pipelines, data warehouses, and AI-integrated reporting solutions to support end-to-end delivery of data platform projects.

• Hands-on experience working with enterprise data platforms or analytics environments end-to-end

• Experience in UAT Testing and Test Management domain

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Technical & Data Skills

• Must : ETL Informatica, DWH, Teradata OR Databricks, Datalake, DataIku

• Strong understanding of data concepts, including data models, datasets, and data lineage

• Working knowledge of SQL for basic data exploration and validation

• Experience mapping business requirements to systems, tables, and columns

• Familiarity with data platforms and tools such as Power BI, OAS, Denodo, Feature Stores, or similar 

Soft Skills

• Strong analytical and structured thinking

• Ability to communicate complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders

• Comfortable acting as a central point of contact and owning data queries end-to-end

• Detail-oriented, organised, and proactive

• Able to work across multiple stakeholders in a matrixed environment
