We are seeking an experienced Data Base Architect to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in database design and architecture, with a focus on optimizing performance and ensuring data integrity. This role requires collaboration with various teams to implement efficient database solutions that meet business needs.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement database architecture solutions based on business requirements.
- Optimize database performance and ensure data integrity and security.
- Collaborate with software developers to integrate database solutions into applications.
- Develop and maintain documentation for database systems and procedures.
- Monitor database performance and implement changes to improve efficiency.
- Manage data migration and transformation processes during system upgrades or transitions.
Skills and Qualifications
- 10-15 years of experience in database architecture and design.
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational database management systems (RDBMS) such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle.
- Strong understanding of database normalization and denormalization techniques.
- Experience with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB or Cassandra.
- Knowledge of cloud database solutions like AWS RDS, Azure SQL Database, or Google Cloud SQL.
- Familiarity with data modeling tools and methodologies.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve database issues effectively.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
