Job Description
Summary:
We are looking for a database administrator who will work on MSSQL databases specializing in Azure/AWS/GCP environment, and collaborate with global teams to maintain 24/ 7 product availability. You will be reporting to SRE Manager and working in hybrid mode.
Your Responsibilities:
- As a member of our Data Services team, you will help manage our application technologies in public cloud and adoption of new technologies including open-source technologies.
- You will help us improve the reliability and delivery of our products. You will join a team that will ensure that issues are resolved in an organized manner as quickly and efficiently as possible.
The Essentials - You Will Have:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering , or equivalent experience.
- Overall 6+ years of experience in DBA
- Experience managing Microsoft SQL server, High availability features like Always on.
- Experience working on AWS/Azure/GCP
- Experience setting up backup schedules and securing data.
- Experience building automation scripts for database server builds using terraform ansible, Git
- Experience with Operations technologies including the following: o Server Operating Systems (Windows Server, Linux) o Virtualization Environments
- Experience working with Agile methodologies.
- Ability to participate in an On-Call rotation.
The Preferred - You Might Also Have:
- Experience Kibana and Logstash
- Experience in Postgres SQL, MySql
