Data Associate

We are looking for enthusiastic and driven Associate – Data Engineering who are eager to build a career in modern data platforms. This role is ideal for individuals with a strong foundation in programming and data concepts, looking to gain hands-on experience with cloud data warehouses and big data technologies such as Databricks, Snowflake, and Redshift.

You will work closely with experienced engineers to build data pipelines, process large datasets, and support analytics initiatives.

• Assist in building and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines using tools like Databricks (PySpark / Spark SQL), Snowflake, or Redshift

• Work with structured and semi-structured data (JSON, CSV, Parquet, etc.)

• Support data ingestion from multiple sources such as APIs, databases, and cloud storage

• Write and optimize SQL queries for data transformation and analysis

• Help implement data quality checks and validation processes
  

• Collaborate with senior engineers, analytics, and BI teams

• Participate in code reviews, debugging, and documentation
  

• Continuously learn and adopt best practices in data engineering

  
  
  

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field

• 0–2 years of experience (internships, projects, or training programs considered)

• Basic knowledge of SQL and Python
  

• Understanding of data structures, databases, and ETL concepts
  

• Familiarity with at least one cloud platform (AWS / Azure / GCP) is a plus

• Exposure to tools like Databricks / Snowflake / Redshift (through coursework or projects) is preferred

• Good problem-solving and analytical skills

• Exposure to Airflow / ADF / AWS Glue
  

• Basic understanding of data warehousing or Lakehouse concepts
  

• Certifications or relevant coursework in data engineering or cloud platforms
